Alan Castro brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and integrity to his real estate practice on Florida’s Suncoast. Originally from Brooklyn and a longtime resident of Queens, New York, Alan has called Englewood home for the past eight years and embraces the Gulf Coast lifestyle and strong sense of community.

Before transitioning into real estate, Alan spent 20 years with the New York City Police Department, advancing through the ranks of Police Officer, Detective, and Sergeant. His career sharpened his attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to navigate complex, high-pressure situations, qualities that serve his real estate clients exceptionally well.

Alan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, providing a strong foundation in law and psychology that enhances his ability to interpret contracts and guide clients with clarity and confidence. He is a Retired NYPD Sergeant, All Lines Insurance Adjuster, Certified Rescue Diver, and is fluent in Spanish.

Married for 23 years, Alan values commitment, loyalty, honesty, and leadership. Outside of real estate, he enjoys SCUBA diving, fitness, travel, reading, and music. He is actively involved with the Blue Line Club and Suncoast Reef Rovers of Venice Florida. He also supports Non-Profit organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association and the Florida Atlantic University's Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation.
